In 2009, Sofitel Munich Bayerpost has begun a new chapter in its history by fully renovating its largest suites, setting new standards for hotel design which reach beyond the frontiers of the Bavarian capital. Harald Klein has given each suite a particular theme, reflected in the choice of colors, materials, furniture, paintings and decorative objects. In each of the ten suites he has created a unique and exceptional atmosphere, offering guests a variety of stories and stimulating their imagination.

All suites offer exceptional comfort, modern design and the latest high technology, including Wi-Fi, a Bose Wave system with iPod dock and the latest generation of flat screen televisions.
Floral arrangements intensify this inspirational, mystical room experience. An intriguing dream world is created, based on the book 'Les Fleurs du Mal' by the famous philosopher and poet Charles Baudelaire. Dark colours – violet, black and floral patterns – dominate the room. White and orange elements contrast with the dark materials. A spacious (90 m²) and elegant living room and office are flooded with natural daylight, while the separate bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe. Enjoy a DVD and CD player, two large flat screen televisions and a Bose sound system.

The warm, golden tones of this suite – a white, illuminated Wave wall, two suspended lamps like golden globes out of hydrangea leaves, and a golden rug on a violet floor – create a luminous, luxurious atmosphere. Enjoy the innovative fireplace by the dining table, set in front of golden wallpaper. The art concept includes pictures from the movie 'To Catch a Thief' with Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. The highlight of the suite is a giant artwork based on a lens. The suite stretches over 90 m², with high technology by Bang & Olufsen.
A veritable work of art, the Oyster Apartment envelops guests in 175 m² of pure luxury. Enjoy plush fabrics, fine furniture by famous designers and the best of Bang & Olufsen technology. The showstopper is undoubtedly the 13 m² giant screen on which guests can watch television or browse their photo collections. Colors are shades of purple, white, grey and burgundy. For wellbeing, the Jacuzzi and steam bath leave nothing to be desired. With a dining table for eight people and an adjoining kitchenette, it is easy to arrange a private dinner or lunch.
